Originally from Yuma, Arizona, Danielle has been practicing yoga since 2001 when she was first introduced to Bikram yoga as a complement to her demanding dance schedule. Graduating from the University of Arizona with a BFA in dance performance, she had extensive experience listening carefully to her body.
An emphasis on dance injury in study led her to explore the restorative elements of yoga, using it as a way to more quickly recover from injury. Danielle enjoys teaching others how to safely push their bodies and practices, making sure to listen to the feedback that your muscles provide.
When not practicing yoga, you can find her performing as part of the Mordine and Company Dance Theater in Chicago,
Danielle has received her 200-hr teacher training from Chicago Yoga Center under Suddha Weixler focusing on hatha, ashatanga, vinyasa, yin and anatomy.
