Kim discovered yoga in 2008 while pursuing a B.F.A in dance from the University of Iowa. She quickly fell in love with vinyasa classes, providing a new approach to movement exploration.
Kim currently holds a 200-hour certification through James Miller Yoga.
Kim also dances with Inaside Dance Company, and teaches ballet and jazz to young dance students. In her free time she enjoys cooking, and exploring the city of Chicago.
Kim allows her knowledge of the body as a dancer to help inform her teaching. She looks at movement as an endless journey towards balance, health, and happiness.
